2015
Another year has come and gone and I leave each one feeling more blessed than the last. 2015 took many twists and turns that I would have never expected, but it brought me to new paths that I have loved immensely. Starting to practice videography and incorporate that into my business was the coolest and biggest blessing I’ve had this year and I can honestly say that it would not have happened without the wonderful wonderful clients (though I hate calling them clients – I’d rather call them friends) that I had the opportunity to work with this year. So thank YOU to each and every one of you for having me and letting me work with you this year! Whether it was on your wedding day, to announce something big, at the end of your high school, or just another family picture, I loved it all – so here’s my faves from the year to show it.

The William’s Girls
I love taking this family’s pictures. Every time I do, I spend the whole time just giggling with them all. Having no sisters, this is always the most fun part for me. I love how fun and sweet these William’s girls all are with each other – it always makes for the best pictures! And being up in President’s Square and Capital Hill theater at the University of Utah was the perfect city backdrop for this family this year. I’m lucky this has been a good family photo year 😉
Rome | Exploring Italy
I love Italy. Can I say that enough? I love Italy. There, I said it again. It’s full of such friendly people and the best food ever. And that gelato – don’t even get me started. If you ever want to know the best past and gelato spots in Rome – I’ve got ya covered. I love that you can walk around all of the city and see so much history everywhere – the Spanish steps (though they were closed ), the Pantheon, Piazza Navona, the Colosseum, the Typewriter, and my personal favorite – the Trevi Fountain. All I wanted to see in Italy was the Trevi Fountain at night. But what I didn’t know was that it’s been closed down for several months for cleaning and repairs. I was so so upset and spent the rest of the trip trying to forget it and have fun. But the biggest triumph and blessing of the trip happened, when on the last night in Rome (and on our trip), we walked past the Trevi fountain on our way to dinner and happened upon the re-opening it – and it was perfectly beautiful. And probably one of my happiest travel stories ever. Arrevederci Roma!

Jordan & Matt Hopper | Atlanta, Georgia Reception Video
Now, THIS is a true southern Atlanta, Georgia wedding reception. Complete with red barn, vintage cars, all the delicious barbeque you could want, Coke (because you can’t not have coke in Georgia!) and plenty of southern twang and love around to share and spread. And hopefully this video will show you just how awesome these southern weddings are! Not typical to a wedding out here in the west, this was in Jordan’s very own backyard, making the whole event feel even more intimate and loving. And hey – what wedding doesn’t shout charm that has a tire swing? Congrats again to Jordan and Matt! I absolutely loved being a part of your wedding!

The Ellis’s
This family is always so much fun – I always get so many compliments on pictures of them and it’s because of just that – they are FUN! We had a little quick mini session for their cards this year near the canyon and it was great as always!
