We laughed this entire photoshoot – can you tell? I had so much fun with little Shay Shay – we both laughed, giggled, and gabbed the whole time as we finished up her senior pictures for her upcoming graduation from Alta High School. I know I say this about everyone I work with (and its true for each and every one!) – I love Alexa. There’s something about spending up close and personal time with someone and looking at them through a different view and source that really makes me see them truly and unadorned. I experienced this so strongly with Alexa and it made me remember why I love doing this so much – I love people and I love seeing them as they are and Alexa is the most kind, sweet, and loving person you’ll ever meet. Ah, what can I say about these two lovelies? I seriously love this couple. It of course helps that: 1. Brikelle has become one of my dearest friends, business partner, and travel buddy (which comes with its own special friendship benefits in and of itself) and 2. I not only think that Zach’s brand of humor and good nature is compatible with that of Matthew Crawley and Ben Wyatt mixed, but that he is such a great guy to Brikelle. This reception was full of fun, friends, and so much love you could almost taste it. The Lodge at Traverse Mountain was a beautiful spot full of warmth that perfectly matched this couple and their friends and family.
