Oh to live the life of a Parisian! The streets of the city of Paris are quite lovely and full of a sophisticated charm that I can’t seem to describe any other way than a Parisian charm. With the Seine river propped against the beautiful old architecture and the wonderful food (lets just say within 36 hours, we had eaten 15 crepes between the 4 of us), it felt a bit like living in Woody Allen’s film Midnight in Paris. The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, the antique shops, and to top it all off, a beautiful picnic at the base of the Eiffel Tower – it was truly the Parisian way to experience Paris! *This is typical of traveling with these...

Aren’t these two the sweetest? They definitely encompass a true southern couple in a true southern setting! I loved being a part of their wedding videographer in Atlanta, Georgia this last weekend – it was truly a treat! I can’t wait to show you their big day, but until then, take a look at their first look bridal video! PS – Can you believe that this gorgeous setting is Jordan’s own backyard?? Oh, it’s to die for! *Note to self* When traveling through Europe, leave MUCH MORE TIME to spend in London. Oh, how I love London! It is truly a magical place to be in – with the hustling and bustling streets, the old architecture mixed with the new, the proper government and royal way that is mixed throughout the way everything is done and run. We truly only had one full day in London to see it all (and a brief night before, spent completely at Harrod’s and the most divine treat stand called Wafllemeister) and while I stand by my note to self above, if you only had one day to see London, I would venture to say that we did that one single day in London right. But you always need a reason to come back, right? *We’ve got some pretty hilarious pictures coming from me teaching Brikelle the basics of the camera and photography, including this lovely one above 😉 KINGS CROSS!!! This Harry Potter fan flipped. And then searched meticulously for platform 9 3/4 And then I found it 😉 And I so should have jumped – this picture is way too cool for...

I’ve always been a fan of fall, but if there’s one things I’ve learned, it’s that Oxford, England in the fall is even better than fall anywhere else. We were so lucky to have been invited and welcomed so warmly to Oxford by the Gee family, who are currently studying there. The town is gorgeous this time of year (truly, it will be my favorite place yet) and this family matches the season so well. Aren’t they beautiful? And isn’t that little cutie just the most adorable thing you’ve ever seen? I loved being able to take their pictures and spending time with them in Oxford even more....

Oxford University is easily the most beautiful college I have ever been to. We spent a few hours touring the more well known areas of the college and I could have easily spent several more hours just wandering and learning about the university. Full of the same rich history that enriches the town surrounding it, Oxford takes the cake on top places I could live and die in. It was so incredible to see the different architecture in each college and their beautiful and grand great halls, staircases, and cloisters. Many of the Harry Potter scenes were filmed within the university (so you know I was dying the whole time) and much more of it was based off of the university, like the great hall in Christ’s Church. I honestly could have posted many many more pictures, but I hope that these ones so far have enticed you enough to want to visit Oxford – I know I’m going to go back...

The second leg of the journey began with Oxford, England. The moment our bus rolled into the town of Oxford, I instantly knew that it would be hard to leave this town. It’s beautiful old architecture was rich with history and from just looking at it, you could feel the stories and distinct English feel oozing from the bricks and into the moist foggy air. I kept saying to Brikelle, “I don’t think I’m going to want to leave here” and “Yeah, we should have planned much more time here”. The town was so full of charm and importance and one can only imagine the things that this town has seen. All of the buildings are so well preserved and that mixed with the brisk fall air and incredible fall leaves made for an incredibly smart match. I’m not sure if I’ll love the doors of Oxford quite as much as any other doors in the country (which is obviously apparent in the amount of door pictures here), but I’ve decided to give my future home a door as quaint as one from Oxford. That is, if I haven’t moved to Oxford by then...

Bergen is a town on the Eastern southwestern fjords of Norway with an incredible view and colors to boot. An old wharf town with plenty of fish to share, there’s more than it’s fair share of adorable houses stacked in tight up the hill and onto the mountain. We had plenty of fun going to bakeries, walking the famous little fall colored shops on the wharf, and going up the tram to see the entire town from above. It’s hard not to take pictures of every house on every street while you’re there. I mean seriously. ‘There are a lot of good people around’ ^ I agree Bergen. I agree. Oslo Oslo is a cool city. It’s not a necessarily big city, but it’s really cool to walk around and explore. We went to the capital, the Opera House, and so much more. But our favorite part (which may seem so immature) was the famous statue park – we really got our kicks and giggles out of that. Like, big time. But Oslo is a fun place to be, so how can you not enjoy every second of it?...

The fjords of Norway are famous for their beauty and Tønsberg shows it. Near the town where we stayed (Horten, also on the fjords), Tønsberg is the oldest town in Norway. We explored it and the old viking tower, main wharf walk, church, quaint town, and incredible views. Being the beginning of fall, the leaves were changing colors, giving the cute little houses and incredible green rock the most beautiful aura. But truly my favorite part (and my favorite part of Norway in general) was the “End of the World”. We drove to an island that is part of Tønsberg and decided to drive the whole thing (it’s small, only miles in length) and when we got to the end, there was a sign that said something in Norwegian about this national park which translated to the End of the World. So we ventured down and saw the most incredible outlook of rocks and water. It was an ominous sight – the eye could see for as long and wide as possible. We walked out on the little archipelago of rocks and the sight was heavenly. The clouds were rolling in dark and ominous on the left and the sun was shining on the right, giving a warm yellow cast. I felt like I was in a whole new world and couldn’t have been happier with it. I love traveling Norway and it’s fjords....

Have you ever been to a wedding reception at a pool? You might be a bit skeptical or you might think it sounds completely awesome but either way, let me be the first to tell you that a reception at a pool is insanely fun. Gabby & Parker met at the Draper Pool where they both worked, so it was only fitting to have their reception there too. With fun food like pretzels, a s’more bar, and a Frazil machine (yes – a Frazil wedding!) and a pool jump in their wedding clothes, Gabby & Parker threw and awesome summer time reception. These pictures just make me want to be there again!...

Peru is a whole world of colors – bright and vibrant. I was constantly in awe of the incredible and vast spectrum of hues and shades of colors. Against the dark earth and cloudy sky, they stood out and gave a happy light that reflected the people of Amaru’s spirit perfectly. This is still just a small sneak peek of the hundreds of photos from my Peruvian adventure as photographer with the humanitarian group, so stay tuned – again 😉 Sometimes I have a little fun too – this definitely made the Peruvians howl. I should have brought it back with me...

Every time I come back to New York City I remember why I love it so much. It is it’s own world over there with so much to see and such a widespread of unique and awesome places and spaces. If there is one word to describe Peru, it’s color. And as I’ve already shown, Peru is not short on beautiful color and hand crafted fabrics. We were able to shadow families in the village and this old lady was probably one of the most fascinating parts of the trip. She invited me over to see how she dyes her yarn. All made and dyed from completely natural found parts of the earth, it is an incredible process. She passionately spoke to me about the process, showing me each part of the process, making sure I really soaked it up. I didn’t understand a lick of it (the entire thing was in Quechua, their native language of Amaru), but her passion and gestures was captivating in and of itself. I hope this gives you just a small glimpse of how indigenous and incredible this country and village are – I am still in awe of it. I find myself constantly looking at the pictures over and over and thinking to myself ‘Did I really go there??’. And cute babies are always a plus, right? This is Tim (part of the Academy Mortgage group) holding the cutest baby of one of the yarn dying women from the...

I love this Libby girl. She is always so fun to talk to and gab with. We have tons of similar interests and hobbies, so I feel like I’m talking to a friend or younger sister, and one of our major similarities is our love for photography. I love to use Libby as my second shooter and help at weddings because she always is so thoughtful and attentive to everything – so it was extra fun this time letting her be in front of the camera this time. These are just a small sneak peek at more of her fabulous pictures to come, so you’ll want to keep your eye out for that...
