Little kids and families are always such a fun time and this family was no exception! I loved these sweet and fun kids with their awesome parents – I may have gotten a little too attached to those cute little girls. The sun was setting and the lighting was just perfect, so with no auxiliary lighting needed, I got some really great photographs of this family. Using a smaller aperture for the group portraits (about a f/5.6 – f/7.0) and a much bigger aperture for the individuals (around an f/2.5), I was able to achieve really fun and good family pictures of the Pingels!
Elsa, these turned out gorgeous. I love how you captured their fun personalities. You have a good mix of different poses. The natural light is so warm. Also, your focus is great too! Have you seen Cristel’s pictures of the Pingel family? They are fun too: http://www.cristelcarlini.com/pingel-family-take-2/
Elsa, I love it! These are adorable!! And yes, Ellie absolutely loves you. Thanks for doing such a great job with these.
Elsa can I just say I love your website! It’s fresh and clean. Second I’m super jealous at how bright your photos are of the Pingel family! They also just look at home and nice and relaxed and I like how your captured that in your photos. I especially like the black and white one! And if you haven’t you should check out macey’s photos!
